    Analysis of papermaking wastewater treatment equipment

    Paper industry occupies an important position in the national economy. The total drainage capacity of China's paper industry is second only to chemical and steel industries, which ranks third in the industrial wastewater discharge, and COD emissions amount to 1/3 of the total industrial COD emissions. Therefore, the water pollution control of paper industry has become a hot spot in the paper industry and even the whole society, and it has become the key factor restricting the survival and development of the paper making enterprises. The waste paper utilization compared with the traditional, not only can save water, save energy, but also can reduce the amount of chemicals, reduce pollution, and recycling of waste paper is recycling of waste management, therefore become the development trend of papermaking papermaking industry. Papermaking process includes pulping, bleaching, washing and papermaking, the main pollutant source in pulping wastewater. Because of different kinds of waste paper, sources, processing technology and technical equipment, the characteristics of wastewater are also quite different. The main source of pulping wastewater generated from the waste paper pulping, bleaching and washing process. The wastewater has high content of COD and SS, poor biochemical performance, high chromaticity and relatively low nitrogen and phosphorus pollution. Wastewater contains a large number of complex organic compounds, which are composed of soluble slurry, chemical additives and insoluble fibers. There are 89 main organic pollutants reported in the literature, including alkanes, alkenes, aromatics, acids, esters, alcohols, phenols and ketones. From the molecular weight distribution, the soluble COD component in papermaking wastewater is basically a low molecular weight molecular weight fraction of less than 1000 and a high molecular weight fraction of molecular weight of more than 100 thousand. In addition, the toxic substances in wastewater also has many types, mainly organic compounds, tannin resin compounds, chlorinated phenol, AOX (adsorbable organic halides), organic sulfides; main toxic compounds to inorganic sulfur compounds, such as sulfate, sulfite, hydrogen sulfide and other salt.
